Because nobody bothers to import it. These aren't rare products in their home countries — they're everyday candy. They just never cross the border, so a Quebec corner store carries the same twenty bars it carried in 2005.

We buy in small quantities and turn over stock quickly rather than sitting on pallets. Every bag carries its own best-before date from the maker — it's printed on the packaging.

Read the bag. We can't answer for products we don't manufacture, and makers change their formulations without telling us.

And one thing you should know: boxes are packed by hand, in a space where nuts, milk, soy and wheat are all present. We can't guarantee any product is free from traces. If you have a severe allergy, please don't order from us.

We don't certify any of it. Some products contain gelatin, some don't. The ingredient list on the packaging is the only reliable answer, and it's the one we'd give you anyway.

Pick a box size, then fill it bag by bag. You choose every single item — no mystery assortment, no filler.

The counter tells you how many bags fit. You can't check out until the box is full, because a half-empty box ships badly.

That's the whole point. Take all six from one country or one from each — the box doesn't care.

Yes. Build one, add it to your cart, build another. In your cart each box shows as its own card, and on our end each one is labelled so we pack them separately.

Yes. Every product page has an Add to cart button next to Build a Box. Single bags ship on their own — you just pay shipping on them, where The Box ships free.

Orders leave Quebec City within two business days, then 3 to 7 business days across Canada depending on your province.

You get a tracking number the moment it ships.

Same-day delivery inside Quebec City. If your address qualifies, the option appears at checkout. Boxes go out in a single run at the end of the day, so an order placed late arrives the next evening instead.

Send us a photo within 14 days with your order number. We replace it or refund it, your choice — and you keep the damaged product. You pay nothing.

Candy travels badly in extreme weather and we can't control a truck that sits in the sun. That's our problem, not yours.

Write to us as fast as you can. If the box hasn't left, we cancel and refund in full, or we fix the address. Once it's with the carrier we can't reach it any more.

Not once it's opened — it's food, and no honest shop will tell you otherwise. Unopened products can come back within 14 days. The full rules are on our Returns page.
