Plain rules for buying from us. By placing an order you accept them.
Who you're buying from
This store is operated by GUMFETTI, based in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Everything below applies to orders placed on this site.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. We may refuse or cancel any order — a product out of stock, a price shown in error, an address we can't serve, or a suspicion of fraud.
If we cancel an order you've already paid for, you're refunded in full. That's the whole remedy in that case.
Prices and what's written on this site
Prices are in Canadian dollars and can change without notice. Taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout.
We describe our products as accurately as we can — origin, weight, flavour. But we don't manufacture them. Packaging, recipes and formats are set by the makers and change without telling us.
The bag beats the website
Always read the packaging itself before eating anything, especially for ingredients and allergens. The label on the bag takes precedence over anything written here.
Allergens
Boxes are packed by hand, in a space where nuts, milk, soy, wheat and other allergens are present. We cannot guarantee that any product is free from traces of an allergen.
If you have a severe allergy, please don't order from us. We'd rather lose the sale.
Who can order
Orders are placed by adults able to enter a contract. Some products aren't suitable for young children — small parts, choking hazards, intense sour or spicy flavours. Use your judgement about who you're buying for.
Using this site
Don't scrape it, don't try to break it, don't use it to send anything unlawful. The name GUMFETTI, the wordmark and the text and images on this site belong to us. The candy brands we sell belong to their own owners, and we sell their products without claiming any right in their marks.
What we don't promise
We work to keep the store online, accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not responsible for a loss caused by an interruption or an error on the site.
To the extent the law allows, our liability toward you is limited to what you paid for the order in question.
Your consumer rights stay whole
Nothing here removes or limits the rights you hold under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act or any other consumer law that applies to you. Where a clause above conflicts with those rights, those rights win.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of the judicial district of Quebec.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
